Hyzaar (generic name: losartan potassium / hydrochlorothiazide; brand brands include: Cosart-H) is a combination of an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (losartan potassium) and a diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide).
Hyzaar is utilized to:
lower high blood strain (hypertension);

If you miss a dosage of Hyzaar, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near your following serving, don't take the skipped dosage. Simply consider the next dose at your normal period.
Keep Hyzaar at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
Before using Hyzaar, tell your physician if:
you are sensitive to any medicines;
you have liver or kidney infection, or diabetes;
